ON COWS
On Cows
Animal agriculture is responsible for 18% of our greenhouse gas emissions, more than all transportation combined, while the livestock themselves produce 51% of our green house gases. Emissions are estimated to be increased by 80% by the year 2050. Because of the potency of methane as a greenhouse gas the cows primarily have to decrease in number drastically.[1] Each kilo beef requires on average 15500 liters of water to produce.[2] This means eating less of their meat will be necessary.
